Tel Aviv kicks off its first ever fashion week

Tel Aviv’s first ever fashion week just started on Monday 21 November. Over the course of three days, the Israeli city will host around 20 catwalk shows from local designers, except for special guest Roberto Cavalli. The Italian designer will also have his own catwalk show where he will showcase his Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

The other Israeli designers will also show their Spring/Summer 2012 collections, hoping to attract international attention to the country’s vivacious fashion style.
Labels and designers showcasing their collections are : Yossef, Yaniv Persy, Tovale, Sasson Kedem, Mira Zwillinger, Maya Negri, Dorin Frankfurt, Galit Levi, Gottex, Dorit Bar Or, Alembika, Raziela, Galia Lahav, Shay Shalom and Alon Livne.
This fashion week has been co-organised by production company ARH, distributor LEV and the Israeli Textile & Fashion Federation, under the support of the country’s Ministry of Tourism.
