Telfar, the Brooklyn-based fashion label founded by designer Telfar Clemens, has announced a collaboration with Decker Brands-owned footwear and lifestyle brand, Ugg.

Clemens, who was named as the CFDA's 2020 American Accessories Designer of the Year, announced the collaboration on Instagram. In a post, the designer is shown sitting on a shearling rug, wearing an asymmetrical off-the-shoulder white top, sweatpants and Ugg boots.

"When something feels good, and doesn’t look right — that’s when I know I’m onto something," the caption reads. "[all clothes TELFAR. UGG X TELFAR coming 2021]."

In a promotional video posted on the Ugg YouTube channel, Clemens is shown in various other pieces, including a Telfar-branded cable knit sweater; a large fluffy hat; a fur-trimmed vest; an electric yellow zip-up jacket; sweatshorts, and a co-branded, rhinestone-adorned black t-shirt featuring a Telfar logo in place of the first letter 'G' in 'Ugg,' among other pieces.

"Touch is a sense that makes you human," the designer says in voiceover. "It makes you alive."

According to industry reports, the 2021 collection will include a total of 10 pieces across apparel, footwear and accessories.

The news of the Telfar x Ugg collaboration comes after Telfar was formally dropped from a collaboration with Gap earlier this year, not long after Gap announced a separate collaboration with Kanye West and Yeezy
