The McCord Museum hosts Montreal is Fashion event

Montreal’s McCord Museum will host a special fashion event baptized After Hours at the McCord – Montreal is Fashion, on Thursday, September 22.
 

The event, created in collaboration with the Montréal Fashion Bureau, will feature an array of activities that will help people discover the true meaning of craftsmanship and bespoke tailoring, while professional stylists will also share practical tips on this season’s trends.
 
Event-goers can find designers such as Elisa C-Rossow who will give an artistic performance consisting of creating a couture dress on a live model; Annick Lévesque who will host a creative workshops where people can create their own leather keychain; Fashion Design students from the École de mode of Cégep Marie-Victorin who will give sketching demonstrations, and more. Attendees can equally catch premiere screenings of new films and take advantage of a make-up station by Holt Renfrew.

Advance tickets for the event are now on sale for $16. Tickets will be sold on site for $20.
