Michigan-based apparel company The Mitten State has announced the launch of a premium t-shirt line in partnership with General Motors.
The Mitten State is a 6-year-old lifestyle apparel company that celebrates the Michigan lifestyle and heritage. Its owners, Scott Zubrickas and Will Bransdorfer, are auto enthusiasts and openly sought after the GM licensing deal given General Motors' role in Michigan's history.
"General Motors approached us with the idea and of course we were thrilled to be a part of it," said Will Bransdorfer, co-owner of The Mitten State.
He continued, "Being fans of vintage muscle cars ourselves, and with Michigan's historic connection to the automotive industry, we knew it would be a perfect fit. It's been a fun history lesson working with GM to explore their logo and photo archives, some of which haven't seen the light of day for decades."
The collection features modern fit tees with 13 graphics featuring the vintage logos and brands of iconic GM cars from the '50s, '60s and '70s including the Camaro, Corvette and Pontiac.
The entire collection is available online through The Mitten Store's eComm site as well as at their retail location in Grand Rapids.
