The Bay launches new line Hudson North
The Bay announced on Friday the launch of a new private apparel brand designed by Canadians, for Canadians, now available in-stores nationwide and on TheBay.com.
Dubbed 'Hudson North', the collection offers elevated essentials for both women and men, and launches with more than 200 wardrobe staples for the spring and summer season designed to be mixed and matched.
The debut assortment includes volume dresses and tops, wide-leg pants, shorts, as well as culottes, denim, loungewear, jackets and knits. Items come in understated neutral tones and features occasional pops of colour.
“We wanted to deliver a brand that embodies how our customers live and move throughout the day no matter their fashion expression,” said Laura Janney, chief merchant at The Bay.
“Hudson North offers quality, foundational pieces that are versatile enough to build upon with trends, and sophisticated enough to be worn on their own. These elevated essentials will quickly become go-to staples this season, and well beyond.”
The Bay was spun off from Hudson’s Bay as a separate business last year, and now operates thebay.com including Marketplace, which features over 500 sellers and various product categories.
Likewise, the Hudson’s Bay operates its full-line locations, including a network of 85 Hudson's Bay stores.
