Tictail, a global online community of independent brands, has announced the opening of three holiday pop-up shops in New York City, Paris and Stockholm. The pop-up locations will open in three consecutive weeks in December.

The first of the three shops to open will be in New York City’s Lower East Side neighborhood on 90 Orchard Street. The Swedish company returns to New York City for the second consecutive year, and the pop-up will house products from emerging designers from around the world, with a focus on local brands like Daniel Dugoff, Arc Objects and Wray Collection, and international designers from Stockholm and Paris.

The Paris and Stockholm pop-up shops will open on December 10 and December 14, respectively. The Paris store will be located at 11 rue Debelleyme and the Stockholm location will be at Kocksgatan 34.

Carl Waldekranz, Tictail co- founder and CEO, said, "By bringing Tictail Market to a brick and mortar experience in the LES (Lower East Side), we can use an in-store experience as a touchpoint for New Yorkers to explore and engage with the incredible stories behind each and every entrepreneur represented in these brands and products. It’s our way of making the world a little smaller, and bringing the best of our community to you for the holidays.”

In May 2012, Waldekranz and co-founders Kaj Drobin, Birk Nilson, and Siavash Ghorbani, founded Tictail to give independent brands around the world an e-commerce platform that focused on strong community integration, simplicity of use and an attractive, customizable design. The company currently supports over 100,000 designers and independent brands across 140 countries worldwide.

In September 2014, Tictail launched its first iPhone app, which increased its mobile orders 75% and its mobile web visits by 78%. Ten months later, the company announced its $22 million Series B funding that was led by Creandum, Thrive, Balderton and Acton.

“Our vision is to bring the success of the Tictail Marketplace to life,” explains Waldekranz. “From day one we’ve sought to bring together a community of amazing local brands from around the world, and give them the tools to build global businesses.

The Tictail New York City pop-up will be open from December 4 through December 22; the Paris store will be open from December 10 through December 20; and the Stockholm store will be open from December 14 through December 21.
