Tiffany & Co releases collaboration with Eddie Borgo

Published
Oct 20, 2016

Luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co announced a new collaboration with CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Eddie Borgo. The collection will include seven unique pieces and will be available in November of 2016.

Eddie Borgo for Tiffany & Co

The collaboration began in partnership with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion when Tiffany&Co asked designers to create a collection inspired by the iconic style of Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, founder of the Whitney Museum. Eddie Borgo won the competition, giving him the opportunity to work with Tiffany’s team of artisans on a capsule collection.

Eddie Borgo is New York City-based accessory designer whose work often draws from architectural and contemporary sculpture. He is no stranger to the design awards circuit, having earned multiple honors, including the CFDA Swarovski Award For Innovation In Accessory Design in 2011 and the Evolution Award In Accessory Design in 2015. His collection for Tiffany & Co channels Borgo’s classic-meets-modern style and signature geometric designs. All pieces are done in 18k yellow gold. The collection also features pins and earrings with pearl accents.

Tiffany design director, Francesca Amfitheatrof said, “Eddie combined his slightly edgy sensibility with a beautiful classicism and created something really new. We’ve always had a legacy of seeking out beauty and innovation, and this kind of collaboration—where we work together with designers with a really distinct point of view—results in a unique, fresh design.”

The collection will be sold at Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship store and on Tiffany.com.
