Timex appoints new UK managing director

Watch company Timex has named Paul Martin as its new managing director in the UK, overseeing the distribution and marketing of all Timex and Luxury Division brands across the country.

In this new role, Martin will be responsible for brands such as Gc, Guess, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versus, Versace, Timex, Ted Baker and Nautica, reported Watch Pro.

He joins Timex from Sequel UK, a Switzerland-based subsidiary of Timex which has the exclusive distribution rights for Guess Watches worldwide.

Commenting on his appointment, Paul Martin told Watch Pro: “This a strategic move that will allow us to further leverage the full strength of our group’s brand portfolio in this highly competitive market and support our retail partners and continue to delight and engage with our consumers.”

Last year, Timex signed a licensing deal for Ted Baker and Kenneth Cole and became a distributor for Ingersoll watches in the US.
