Tom Ford has new Chief Marketing Officer
Tom Ford is bringing on a chief marketing officer to his eponymous label for the first time. Charlotte Blechman, who has worked with Ford before at Saint Laurent and Gucci, will step up to the position.
Blechman’s last position was with Barneys as the department stores executive vice president of marketing and communication. Prior to that, she served at Gucci America as the director of worldwide celebrity relations and at Saint Laurent as the VP of PR. It was at Gucci that Blechman grew her professional relationship with Ford, leading to her appointment this week at Tom Ford. She will begin the job on January 30.
Blechman will report to Tom Mendenhall, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the luxury brand. In this position, Blechman will be responsible for all advertising, visual display, CRM, events, marketing, communications, and global marketing initiatives.
