Tommy Hilfiger is latest guest on the Gabriel & Co. Designer Flash podcast

Jewelry design house Gabriel & Co. on Monday announced Tommy Hilfiger as this month’s Designer Flash podcast guest. Hilfiger joins a number of designers that were guests on Designer Flash including Naeem Khan, Adam Lippes and Mark Badgley and James Mischka of Badgley Mischka.
 

Founded in 1989, Gabriel & Co. is a New York City-based jewelry design house that is family owned and operated by brothers Jack and Dominick Gabriel. The company launched its Designer Flash podcast in November 2016 with an episode featuring Badgley Mischka.
 
In this month's Designer Flash podcast, Hilfiger discusses with Hal Rubenstein how his company has stayed relevant over 35 years and the company’s commitment to brick and mortar stores. The podcast also offers a front row seat to the Tommy x Gigi show that was held on Venice Beach in February. The collection was accessorized with sparklers from the jewelry house’s Fine Jewelry Everyday collection.

"There is still something wonderful about self-discovery when it's right in front of you," said Hilfiger. "Being able to touch and feel fabrics and textures before you make a decision. So I think what we have to do is create unusual shopping and retail experiences."
 
The Designer Flash podcast episode launched just one day prior to Hilfiger announcing that the brand will return to Pitti Uomo in June. The American fashion company presented its fall 2017 Hilfiger Edition collection at Pitti Uomo in Florence in January. The presentation, which marked as the brand’s first-ever presentation of all sportswear, featured installations, mannequins and digital displays, including touchscreen retail shopping walls. The digital showroom will make its return at Pitti Uomo 92, which will be held from June 13 through 16.
