Toms and The Hill-Side on Thursday launched a collaboration collection of footwear and accessories for holiday 2016. The collection marks as Toms’ first time partnering with a menswear brand.
The Toms and Hill-Side partnership collection started over a year ago with the initial idea of creating a collection of Toms footwear in Japanese fabrics. The two brands quickly expanded their idea to kids footwear and eventually to eyewear and accessories, which features the exclusive custom printed fabric. The collection consists of Toms signature footwear styles, including a chukka boot, sneakers, and signature Toms espadrille, featuring Japanese fabrics such as Lightweight Indigo Sashiko, Navy Cotton Herringbone Tweed, and Grey Cotton Herringbone Tweed, and accessories such as pocket squares, scarves, bowties, neckties and kids’ ties featuring custom fabric like the Big Halftone Floral print fabric.
In addition, the three eyewear styles, the Bellini, Fitzpatrick, and Hynes, feature hand-finished tortoiseshell acetate.
To support the launch, Toms launched a lookbook featuring a group a dads and their sons, which includes Andrew Tarlow of Marlow & Sons / Diner, Niyi Okuboyejo of Post-Imperial, Nick Carnevale of Gasoline Alley Coffee, and Simon Howell of Lynn & Lawrence.
The collaboration collection ranges in price from $39 to $238.
