Too Faced to sell limited-edition shoes at pop-up

Cosmetics brand Too Faced is adding limited-edition glitter stilettos to the assortment in its upcoming Better Than Sex mascara NYC pop-up next month.

Better Than Sex is the product name for the mascara line made by Irvine, CA-based Too Faced cosmetics. Jerrod Blandino, one of the co-founders of the company, is famous for teasing images on Instagram. In July he posted a picture of the glitter shoes which are embellished with a set of eyelashes on the heels.

Blandino followed up his first teaser post by using a hashtag saying the shoes were going to be a prop in an upcoming video. The second image he posted showed the soles of the shoes which have Better Than Sex printed on them in gold lettering.

Blandino has now announced on his Instagram account that the Better Than Sex glitter stilettos will be available at the pop-up. He captioned his photo, "We're going to have a super limited amount for sale at our Better Than Sex Pop Up shop this Oct. in NYC."

While additional details are not yet available, based on his hashtags it appears the shoes are vegan and are made in Italy. The pop-up shop is rumored to open October 19th. Location has not been disclosed yet, but there's a good chance Too Faced will follow the trend and open it in SoHo.

Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced is offered in a range of price points from $12 to $23.
