Canada’s largest designer pop-up event is gearing-up for its spring edition taking place April 27 and 28 at Toronto’s QRC West.
Dubbed 'Inland', the shopping event will feature 70 fashion and accessory collections, all 100 percent-made or designed in Canada.
Canadian brands and designers include Rachel Sin, Jennifer Torosian, Peggy Sue Collection, Hilary MacMillan, Odeyalo, and Pedram Karimi, to name a few.
“Now more than ever it’s important for us to support local designers,” said Sarah Power, founder of Inland.
“Inland provides an opportunity for consumers to touch, feel and interact with Canadian-made collections, alongside the independent designers who focus on quality over quantity. With recent reports estimating big brands sitting on billions of dollars in overstock, it’s imperative that we support sustainable retail habits and I’m proud to be part of a movement that values people, the planet and personal style in equal measure.”
New this year, Canadian media 'The Kit' will also host ‘The Kit Lounge’ throughout the event.
The shopping event will take place on April 27 from 3 to 9 p.m. and on April 28 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
