Toronto's Gee Beauty to open pop-up in Ontario

Beauty retailer Gee Beauty is bringing its curated beauty and fashion offerings to Canada’s cottage country.

The Toronto-born retailer will open a pop-up shop this summer in the popular summer destination of Port Carling, located in Ontario.

The pop-up will run from July 2 to July 15 and will offer a curated collection of makeup, skincare, fashion and beauty tools, by in-house brands like 6 By Gee Beauty, as well as modern brands like Goop, Le Labo, Dr. Sebagh and Tata Harper, to name a few.

True to Gee beauty’s roots, the location will also offer beauty services such as brow threading, lash tinting and express facials.

The pop-up is expected to attract tourists travelling between Lake Muskoka and Lake Rosseau.

The family business, helmed by Miriam Gee and her three daughters Natalie, Celene & Stephanie, was launched in Toronto in 2005 to offer a beauty counter and luxury day spa hybrid. Its modern concept is all about saving customers time by combining a makeup and brow studio, skin specialist and beauty retail destination into one.

Gee beauty currently operates a storefront in Toronto, as well as a lifestyle shop called 6 by Gee Beauty. Nationally, it also operates a storefront in Miami Beach, Florida.
