Tory Burch opens first India store in New Delhi's DLF Emporio

U.S.-based womenswear and accessories brand Tory Burch has opened its first exclusive brand outlet in India in luxury mall DLF Emporio in New Delhi, as the brand expands in the country with Reliance Brands Limited.

 
Tory Burch’s line of monogrammed handbags, accessories, and womenswear is now available for shoppers in Delhi, the brand announced on its Facebook page. The new store on the mall’s ground floor opened with the brand’s spring/summer 2021 collection, which features delicate floral prints, a fresh colour palette, and range of handbags and sandals. 
 
However, after just opening its new store in DLF Emporio, the mall announced that it will remain closed until April 30, 2021, in line with the announcement by the state government of new measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 made on April 15.

“Your health and safety remains our top priority during this time, and we thank you for your support and patience as we work together to stem the spread of Covid-19,” the mall announced on Facebook. 
 
Reliance Brands Limited first announced its plans to add Tory Burch to its fashion brand portfolio in February 2020, Retail News Asia reported at the time. The business shared its plans to open Tory Burch stores in India along with stores for other new licence acquisitions Balenciaga and Kurt Geiger.
