In addition to the DITNB store offering Tracy Reese styles, the concept pop-up also serves as a platform for contemporary and emerging brands in the city’s Arts District.

“I couldn’t be more excited to have a retail presence in Detroit! This is my hometown and it’s extremely close to my heart. It truly feels like a bit of a homecoming and I’m thrilled to partner with Roslyn Karamoko at 'Détroit Is the New Black' for this event,” shares Tracy Reese.

On October 10, Tracy Reese made an appearance at her pop-up, which also served as a homecoming. Reese is a Detroit-born designer that operates four lines inspired by nature, art, dance travel and global cultures. Each line is sold nationwide in top department stores and specialty boutiques and in retailers in Europe and Asia.

The Détroit is the New Black concept pop-up will remain through October and the closing date is flexible.
