Tranoï will be held in New York in February 2015. The first American edition of the Parisian trade show will focus on womenswear, confirmed its organizers to FashionMag at the conclusion of the recent edition of Tranoï Preview.

While the exact dates should be announced soon, and the setting will be Terminal Stores, located on 11th Avenue between 27th and 28th Street in Chelsea. The New York event is to be organized by the same team as the original Tranoï, with the help of a commercial agent tasked with recruiting local exhibitors.

"We expect between 80 and 100 exhibitors for the first edition,” David Hadida told FashionMag, “with a balance of European, Asian and American brands.”

Tranoï’s development abroad is one of the results of the procurement of new investors during the summer of 2013. Armand Hadida, the trade show’s artistic director, recently told FashionMag that following the New York edition, Tranoï would look toward Asia for 2015.
