Trunk Club on Friday opened a new clubhouse in Boston at 501 Boylston Street. The new clubhouse is the first Trunk Club location to open Boston and the seventh to open in the US.
The 18,000-square-foot clubhouse serves as a location for shoppers to work with Trunk Club stylists to put together outfits based on their preferences, body types and styles. Shoppers can head to the Boston clubhouse to try on a pair of jeans or create a wardrobe.
The Boston clubhouse also features fitting rooms designed by brands sold by Trunk Club such as Rodd and Gunn and Zachary Prell.
"Our Clubhouses offer individual styling in a beautifully designed setting. Whether it's ready-to-wear for men and women or men's custom clothing, it's an experience that is unparalleled in retail today," said Terry Boyle, president of Trunk Club. "We are the only personal styling service in Boston that you can access online, in-person and for custom clothing."
Nordstrom acquired Chicago-based Trunk Club in 2014 and shares a fulfillment center with the personal shopping service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Trunk Club will also close its Chicago fulfillment center in August 2017, in order to fully integrate operations with Nordstrom.
Trunk Club currently operates clubhouse locations in Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Dallas and Charleston.
