On December 7, digital trunk show platform Trunkist.com launched an exclusive capsule collection by Project Runway Season 14 finalist Kelly Dempsey, famous for glamorizing the fanny pack. Dempsey is selling select items from her ‘Get in the Groove’ collection, which was also shown at New York Fashion Week. Designs by Season 14 designers Lindsey Creel, Amanda Perna and Duncan Chambers-Watson also went live on Dec 7.
The designers are among the New Branders competing on Project Runway Season 14. These branders have extended their brands beyond blogs, Instagram, and reality shows directly to fans via Trunkist. The company provides resources and tools to designers to produce ‘cut to order’ items without the high costs typically associated with launching a collection.
Customers can now pre-order limited edition items from the four designers on Trunkist.com. Dustin Hindman, Trunkist Founder and CEO, said of the company’s collaboration with the designers: “We are thrilled to work with these inspirational and talented designers from Project Runway Season 14. Our team is carefully crafting, sourcing and producing each designer’s look to meet their unique specifications and price points and help them expand their brands beyond Season 14.”
Trunkist.com is a Cut to Order, digital trunk show platform that offers consumers a curated selection of limited edition apparel. Each item purchased is made to order and shipped within 6-8 weeks. The company is based in Austin, Texas.
