Illinois-based cosmetics company Ulta has added Patricia Little, former senior vice president and chief financial officer of The Hershey Company, to its board of directors, effective November 27 of 2019.
Little comes to the board with over 30 years of professional financial and leadership experience, currently serving as an independent director, member of the board and audit committee chair for McCormick & Company Inc.
Prior to McCormick, she held the role of CFO at The Hershey Company from 2015 through 2019. In addition, she has previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at staffing and recruiting company Kelly Services and as a general auditor at Ford Motor Company, among other roles.
“We are delighted to welcome Patricia Little to Ulta Beauty’s board of directors,” said Mary Dillon, chief executive officer.
“[Little’s] deep financial expertise and insights gained from her experience with consumer-oriented and brand-driven companies will be great additions to our board.”
The appointment comes after the beauty company reported a 12% increase in net sales for the second quarter ended August 3, 2019, with quarterly net sales totaled $1.67 billion, up from $1.49 billion in the year prior, while comparable sales rose 6.2%, compared to a 6.5% increase in 2018.
