Urban Outfitters Europe names new Managing Director

Urban Outfitters confirmed today the appointment of Emma Wisden as Managing Director of Urban Outfitters Europe. Wisden, who started with the company this week on May 5th, was previously the Global Fashion Director of Topshop.
 

Wisden began working for Topshop in 1999 and remained for almost 20 years. She played a role in Topshop’s Reclaim To Wear concept with From Somewhere among other initiatives.

Wisden replaced Hugh Wahla as Managing Director. Wahla reportedly left the business in July 2014 after being with the company for 17 years.
