Urban Decay to open first Canadian store

Published

Cosmetics brand Urban Decay is slated to open its first ever freestanding store in Canada, on September 10.

The 632-square-foot store will open at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, British Columbia.

"With Vancouver being a hotspot for makeup (thanks to a booming film industry) and the fact that we may or may not have a slight bias for the west coast, it felt only natural to open our rst Canadian store in BC," the company says in a news statement.

A second Canadian location is also expected to open in November of this year at Square One shopping center in Mississauga, Ontario.

Currently, Urban Decay cosmetics are sold in Canada at drugstores and at Sephora.

Urban Decay was purchased by L’Oreal in 2013.
