Venture Heat launches the first ever USB heated hoodie
Venture Heat has launched the Indiegogo campaign for its new Evolve Heated Hoodie, the first ever USB powered sweatshirt.
The Evolve Heated Hoodie is a full-zip sweatshirt that has flexible heating panels on the chest and back to keep the body warm when the heat is activated. Wearers can use any 2.1amp+ or higher USB Power Bank to warm the sweatshirt, which remains warm due to a breathable mesh layer and plush fleece lining. The sweatshirt also features temperature control to increase the hoodie’s heat as high as 125℉ and as low as 95℉, an earphone harness and waterproof pockets.
“We’re in the business of creating high quality battery operated heated clothing and we are looking to expand our line and our technology for the modern era by launching our USB powered hoodie.” said Eddie Chen, Owner of Venture Heat. “We are asking for funding to help us with production and shipping costs. We hope that the Indiegogo community can help us get Evolve Heated Hoodie through the production process and to the people that believe in our product, in time for Christmas 2015.”
The company is offering different rewards according to how much one contributes to the campaign. The greatest reward that Venture Heat is offering is a Family Pack of 4 hoodies and USBs that will be gifted to any contributor that pledges $425 or more to the campaign. Rewards are expected to ship by December 1, 2015.
To date, the Evolve Heated Hoodie has raised over $7,600 of its $30,000 goal. The Indiegogo campaign will remain for the next 23 days.
Venture Heat is the leading manufacturer of heated clothing including motorcycle clothing, heated gloves, jackets and vests and heat therapy. The company was founded in Venice Beach in 2003, and is currently headquartered in Huntington Beach.
