The walls and windows of Victoria Beckham’s flagship store on 36 Dover Street have been used as a blank canvas by acclaimed artist Eddie Peake, who created a vivid and irreverent installation called “Courgettes”.

On display until January 3rd, 2016, the artwork uses vivid acrylic paint to form an intriguing, perplexing sentence. Considering ideas surrounding language – the immediacy of words, conflicts of communication, and meanings lost in translation – Peake's work looks at the gaps in language, and seeks to exploit them.

The collaboration continues Victoria Beckham’s exploratory journey as a space that highlights contemporary British artists. The luxury brand has worked in the past with London-based visual artist Shirazeh Houshiary on a Christmas tree and with acclaimed set designer Andy Hillman.
