Victoria Beckham Beauty names Katia Beauchamp as CEO

Victoria Beckham Beauty has named former Birchbox cofounder and CEO, Katia Beauchamp, as its CEO. 

Beauchamp left her position as Birchbox’s CEO last year following its acquisition by FemTec Health. Beauchamp is credited for building Birchbox from the ground up, becoming a multi-million-dollar beauty sample subscription company with over 1 million subscribers in 2019. 

The UK beauty brand also announced the arrival of Nance Hastings as president, effective November 2022. She previously worked for the cosmetics brand Alpyn Beauty, and before that had spent 25 years with the Estée Lauder group.

The appointments come as the brand aims to expand globally and ramp up its clean beauty innovations. The company said that its previous CEO, Sarah Creal, left the brand earlier this year.

Beckham, who serves as her namesake brand's co-founder and creative director, launched her beauty business in October 2019. The company is owned by Victoria and David Beckham, Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment and private equity firm Neo Investment Partners.

Victoria Beckham Beauty currently offers make-up and some skincare products that are part of the clean beauty movement.
