Victoria Beckham launches sustainable capsule with The Outnet

Published
Oct 21, 2021

Victoria Beckham is very busy on the collaboration front at the moment. At the same time as she launches a knitwear link-up with Woolmark, she's also launched an online exclusive collection with YNAP’s luxury outlet store The Outnet.

Victoria Beckham x The Outnet

And just as the Woolmark offer is all about sustainability, the exclusive Outnet capsule is “predominantly created using existing fabrics from the Victoria Beckham archive, reworked into a series of new, modern silhouettes inspired by the brand’s signature pieces”.

Reusing existing materials has become a popular option for sustainability-focused brands at the upper end of the market and seems to score well with consumers.

The collection consists of 25 pieces including a mix of form-fitting dresses, chunky knitwear, classic shirting, pants and outerwear. It all comes in a “refined” colour palette including tobacco brown, military green, navy and monochrome with pops of pink, mustard and bright cobalt blue.

This is the second time The Outnet has collaborated with the brand having previously hosted the sale of Beckham’s wardrobe for mothers2mothers back in 2014.

The e-tailer’s Head of Buying, Kate Benson, said: “The brand is much loved by our global customers so to have the opportunity to collaborate with Victoria to launch this exclusive collection is an exciting moment for us. Our intention was to offer a blend of winter wardrobe staples and fashion-forward items, which I really feel we have achieved with this collection.”

Beckham herself added: “We’re always looking for ways in which we can be more responsible with our collections and creatively challenge ourselves. This collaboration allowed us to do both of those things which is really exciting for us as a brand. It’s a celebration of our past with a future-thinking approach.”
