Victoria's Secret pays homage to Paris with new limited edition fragrance
today Dec 1, 2016
After setting its annual Fashion Show amid the sumptuous decor of the French capital's Grand Palais on Wednesday, the famous lingerie label is paying homage to the City of Light with a new fragrance called Victoria's Secret Paris.
The eau de parfum is available in stores and online at victoriassecret.com.
France, and Paris in particular, appears to be the center of the lingerie label's attention right now. After opening its first French sales outlet in Orly airport back in January, Victoria's Secret chose the Vaux-le-Vicomte château in the Seine-et-Marne region to film its Holiday 2016 campaign, before holding its Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at the Grand Palais in Paris.
As the Angels prepare to jet out of the capital, the brand has unveiled Victoria's Secret Paris, the show's official fragrance, directly inspired by the world's "sexiest city," according to the label.
When crafting this new scent, the perfumers sought to capture the sparkling vibrancy of the City of Light after dark, as well as the aromas of its gardens in wintertime.
This eau de parfum blends notes of French cypress with jasmine and white cedar. It's a limited edition release sold in 100ml and 50ml spray formats, accompanied by a rollerball, a lotion and a scented mist.
The fragrance campaign is fronted by Stella Maxwell, who was among the Angels picked to walk the runway at the Paris show. The model can be seen posing in a sexy white lingerie ensemble wearing the iconic Victoria's Secret angel wings.
Victoria's Secret Paris Eau de Parfum is on sale in the brand's retail stores and online.
