Victoria's Secret unveils collaborative capsule with Mary Katrantzou
As it counts down to its annual Fashion Show, Victoria's Secret has unveiled pieces from its collaborative collection with British designer Mary Katrantzou.
The collaboration, a group effort between the designer, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Creative Director Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou and Executive Producer Monica Mitro, was announced earlier this month.
The American lingerie brand has now revealed the collaboration via an Instagram post, which features a photo of one of the collaborative designs: a bra and high-waisted panty set featuring one of Katrantzou's typically brightly colored, kaleidoscopic prints.
Prices for the Victoria's Secret x Mary Katrantzou line range from $19.50 to $119.50. The limited-edition collection will be available throughout the holidays in select Victoria's Secret stores, as well as on the brand's website.
The annual lingerie spectacular that is the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which is now over 20 years old, regularly attracts viewers with high-profile featured guests and models, as much as with flashy underwear. In addition to its team of leading Victoria's Secret Angels, the brand's previous guest performers and models have included Rihanna, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Bella Hadid and Taylor Hill.
Buzz that Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner will be participating in this year's show recently surfaced after designer Brian Atwood hinted that he looked forward to seeing them wear his shoes on the Victoria's Secret runway in two Instagram posts. Neither the models nor Victoria's Secret have confirmed their involvement with the show.
Victoria's Secret will post further updates on the Mary Katrantzou capsule in its Instagram story highlights.
