Hartley brings to Victorinox over 20 years of global management expertise in luxury, outdoor and sports industries. In this new role, he will oversee the company’s sales, marketing, finance, business development, operations, and distribution, and he will lead the company in improving distribution and go-to-market strategies.

Prior to joining Victorinox, Hartley worked at Oakley for 10 years serving as Sales Director, Managing Director and finally Vice President of Optical.

The appointment follows the announcement that Victorinox will shut down its apparel division by the end of 2017. The spring 2017 collection will be the company’s final global collection, and a separate collection will be released in Japan in fall 2017.
