Vicunha opens new Bangladeshi sales and customer support office

Vicunha, the Brazilian denim giant, is focusing more on the Asian market with the opening of a new sales and customer support office in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

"Bangladesh is the biggest centre for the manufacture of denim material. It is the perfect hub for manufacturers, suppliers and traders to converge and thus makes it an ideal place for Vicunha to open up yet another branch. We already have a strong client base in Bangladesh and the office will in fact contribute towards raising the level of our services to clients", said Thomas Dislich, Director Vicunha for Europe and Asia.

The branch office in Dhaka will be headed by Junaid Safdar, Regional Manager Vicunha Bangladesh. The company's products have been supplied to Bangladesh for four years and Vicunha makes use of trade fairs like "DenimsandJeans", as one of its founder exhibitors, to expand its network in the country.
