Von Maur to open first location in North Dakota

Von Maur Department Store announced on Thursday plans to open its first Von Maur location in North Dakota, in spring 2025, continuing its strategic national expansion.

Von Maur is set to open at West Acres Mall in Fargo, North Dakota. Spanning an impressive 90,000 square feet, the store will offer a wide range of brand name products from renowned brands like Bobbi Brown, Peter Millar, TravisMathew, Hammitt, Lilly Pulitzer, Kendra Scott, and more. Shoppers can expect a diverse selection of specialty apparel, shoes, accessories, and gifts.

Construction of the Von Maur store will begin this summer, and will feature the company's signature residential ambiance, original artwork, an open floor plan, and music from the store's grand piano.

Positioned as an anchor tenant, Von Maur's location at West Acres Mall will be easily accessible to visitors, and is expected to eventually employ 125 associates – the majority of which will be full-time.

Von Maur is expanding its presence at West Acres Mall in Fargo. This upcoming store will mark Von Maur's second investment in the mall, following the successful launch of the Dry Goods store in 2018, a trendy and modern women's apparel and accessories retailer.

The company said that the positive reception and success of Dry Goods bolstered its confidence in the area, prompting them to further invest and cater to the local market. Von Maur currently operates 37 stores in 15 states.
