Walgreens and Nordstrom partner with Narvar to offer in-store package pick-up and returns

Customer experience platform Narvar has launched its Narvar Concierge network in partnership with Walgreens, providing parcel pick-up and returns at the drugstore chain’s over 8,000 FedEx OnSite brick-and-mortar locations, as well as at select Nordstrom stores. The department store operator is piloting the service in Los Angeles, its largest market.

 
More than a dozen brands, including Urban Outfitters, Cole Haan, Levi Strauss & Co. and Arezzo & Co are also participating in the launch, meaning that they can now offer their customers order pick-up and return services through the Narvar Concierge network’s locations.

As the network is based largely around Walgreens retail locations, which are within five miles of over 75% of the US population, the partnership would appear to present a very real opportunity to drive significant improvements in customer convenience.

Indeed, as Narvar explains, the launch should allow participating brands “to meet consumer demand for more choice and convenience without investing in their own brick-and-mortar footprint.”
 
The network is the first digital-to-physical initiative launched as part of the Narvar Concierge suite of solutions, which, aside from improving the links between customers’ e-commerce and brick-and-mortar experiences, also aims to help participating brands better collect and manage data about both their online purchases and offline returns through Narvar’s platform.

Narvar Concierge is part of a wider range of products for commerce companies offered by Narvar, which currently collaborates with over 600 retailers, providing order tracking, returns and customer care services.
