Weiss Watch Company has unveiled two Limited Issue Field Watches, marking the first time the company is launching a watch in limited quantities.

The Weiss Limited Issue Field Watch in Black - Weiss

The Limited Issue Field Watches are available in black and dark blue with Horween Shell Cordovan watchstraps. The Dark Blue Dial Field watch features a dark blue dial, latte numerals, silver hands with latte lume, and a brown handmade Horween Shell Cordovan strap. The Black Dial Field watch features the same details as the dark blue except for a black dial and a black tonal handmade Horween Shell Cordovan strap.

Only 100 Dark Blue and 200 Black watches were made featuring individual serial numbers and Certificates of Authenticity, and they will retail for $1500. The Cordovan strap options will also be available on their own for $200.

Cameron Weiss, Weiss Watch Company founder and master watchmaker stated, "We are asked all the time for special versions of our watches. We felt it was time to release a set of limited issue timepieces to mark our two year anniversary."

Weiss timepieces feature a Swiss made mechanical movement that is hand finished and assembled in Los Angeles. The company also announced that it has completed a working prototype for the first mechanical movement made in the US, and it will release its first edition of timepieces with an American movement this holiday season. This marks the first time in nearly 100 years that a watch movement has been made in the US.

The Limited Issue Field Watches are available only at the Weiss website and will be available soon at select Barneys New York locations.
