Wet Seal names Judd P. Tirnauer as Chief Financial Officer

The Wet Seal, LLC announced Tuesday the appointment of Judd P. Tirnauer as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 1, 2016. Tirnauer will succeed current Wet Seal CFO, Thomas R. Hillenbrandt, who is leaving to pursue new endeavors.

 
Tirnauer heads to Wet Seal with 15 years of leadership in business operations and strategic planning. He most recently served as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Destination Maternity.

Wet Seal has been in a rebuilding phase for a full year. In January 2015, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and two months later, Versa Capital Management acquired the company. The CEO at the time, Ed Thomas remained with the company until he retired in August and was replaced by Melanie B. Cox.
