Woolmark and Comme Moi partner on Australian Merino wool capsule

The Woolmark Company and Chinese fashion label Comme Moi have partnered to design a five-piece Australian Merino Wool capsule collection named China Rouge.
Comme Moi, which means “Like Me,” is the latest brand to partner with Woolmark joining the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Alexander Wang, Thom Browne, Diane von Furstenberg and Paul Smith. The capsule collection will be unveiled at the brand’s fall fashion presentation in Beijing.
Founded by Chinese supermodel and fashion designer Lu Yan in 2013, Comme Moi is inspired by Yan’s life and career, most notably how she stepped out of the small remote village of Jiang Xi in China to become the country’s first international supermodel.
"We are very privileged to work with Lu Yan and her private label COMME MOI,” says The Woolmark Company Marketing Vice President Greater China, Jeff Ma. “Her design philosophy highlights the importance of natural fibres and quality details, setting trends for the new generation of fashion-savvy consumers in China. From being China’s first supermodel to the founder of COMME MOI, Lu Yan continues to express her unique style through innovative thinking and design."
Lu Yan was one of the judges for the 2015/16 International Woolmark Prize Asia regional final.
