World Surf League launches official jerseys and apparel

The World Surf League (WSL) announced on Wednesday the launch of its first official apparel line.

 
The new line consists of the complete selection of jerseys for the top men and women competing in this year’s Samsung Galaxy Championship Tour, and WSL branded apparel for men, women and kids. The apparel ranges from hoodies and long-sleeve shirts to t-shirts, tanktops and accessories, all available online exclusively at the WSL website. Fans have the option to customize their own jerseys and purchase merchandise from the Tour events including the Drug Awareness Margaret River Pro and the Oi Rio Pro.
 
A number of athlete jerseys unveiled at the Quiksilver/Roxy Pro Gold Coast, the first stops of the 2016 Samsung Tour. Jerseys for athletes, Mick Fanning, Kelly Slater, John John Florence, Julian Wilson, and Steph Gilmore among others quickly sold out.

In addition, the WSL launched the “It’s On!” app offering personalized alerts and digital broadcasts.
 
Formerly the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP), the WSL celebrates the world’s best surfing through a variety of best-in-class audience performances. The Santa Monica-based league has been championing the world’s best surfing since 1976 running global events across the Samsung Galaxy Men's and Women's Championship Tours, the Big Wave Tour, Qualifying Series, Junior and Longboard Championships, as well as the WSL Big Wave Awards.
