YNAP's Kavanagh adds to role with Mr Porter MD title

Another day, another internal promotion at Yoox Net-A-Porter this time at its high-end menswear e-tailer Mr Porter.

The company has added the Managing Director’s role at Mr Porter to Vikki Kavanagh’s remit. She was already MD of sister brand Net-A-Porter.

There hasn’t yet been an official announcement, but on her LinkedIn page, she said: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Managing Director for both Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter”.

Kavanagh had been Net-A-Porter MD since June 2021 and before that was Interim MD of YNAP from April 2020.

She’d started at the company with The Outnet in 2017, joining as Buying Director before becoming Global Buying & Merchandising Director.

Prior to that she’d been Head of Buying at Very Exclusive and has also held buying positions at Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and Fenwick.

YNAP has made a raft of management changes in recent days with news earlier this week that Alison Loehnis will be appointed Interim CEO, effective 31 October, replacing Geoffroy Lefebvre, who’s moving on.

The company also said Philippe Larrieu has been made Regional General Manager for Japan, jointing the business from Clarins.
