Yorkdale gears up for the holiday season

Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Canada’s most successful shopping destination, is gearing up for the holiday season with new store openings and exclusive services for shoppers.

Following Yorkdale’s recent 300,000 square foot expansion, the mall is now housing first to market stores such as Maje, Sandro and Canada Goose.

The opening of Yorkdale’s newest expansion includes a five-level underground parkade, bringing parking capacity to more than 8,100, the greatest number of spots at any Toronto shopping centre.

In the new wing, Yorkdale has also launched Style Concierge. A guest service, which offers two-hour stylist consultations and private shopping sessions.

The mall has equally opened the FashionCAN Pop Up shop, a space dedicated to showcasing pieces from Canada’s top fashion designers such as Pink Tartan, Paul Hardy, Daniel Christian Tang, Greta Constantine, Lucian Matis, Marie Saint Pierre, Mikhael Kale and more.

Additionaly, the mall will also have extended holiday hours running from November 21 to January 8.

“Delivering an elevated shopping experience during the busy holiday season is a priority,” says Lucia Connor, Yorkdale’s Marketing Director, in a news statement.

Yorkdale Shopping Centre is Canada’s leading shopping destination. It is co-owned by Oxford Properties and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) and managed by Oxford Properties Group. Yorkdale is located at 3401 Dufferin Street, off Allen Road, near the 401.
