Yorkdale retail expansion leads to over 200 new job opportunities

Following the expected opening of Yorkdale’s new 300,000 square foot expansion wing, the shopping center will host an employment fair for some of its new retailers.
 

The Employment Fair will take place on Wednesday, August 10, from 10 am to 4 pm. Interview opportunities will equally take place between 10 am and noon. The event will be held at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in the East Expansion.
 
Approximately 21 retailers will meet with candidates for over 250 new retail jobs in the GTA. This will add to the 2,000 individuals already employed by Yorkdale’s 250 retailers.  

Confirmed retailers at the employment fair will include Nordstrom, UNIQLO, Mackage, Canada Goose, ARC'TERYX, NYX and more.
