Zara arrives in Egypt

Published
Jun 15, 2009

Zara has opened its first boutique in Egypt. The brand, of the Spanish giant Inditex, has installed itself in the Star Centre in Cairo, a shopping centre described as one of the largest in the Middle East with its five hundred stores.

This first store for the brand will cover 1,500m² and will hold womenswear, menswear and childrenswear from Zara.

The new arrival in Egypt follows the debut of Pull & Bear, Bershka and Massimo Dutti in the country.

Inditex should open other stores in Cairo and Alexandria in 2009.
