Zegna names Mads Mikkelsen as its latest global testimonial

Zegna has named actor Mads Mikkelsen to be the Italian brand’s latest global testimonial, one day after he dressed in Zegna at the Cannes Opening Ceremony.

“Zegna is thrilled to announce its new global testimonial, actor Mads Mikkelsen, who joins the Zegna family of passionate people and dynamic personalities,” the house said in a release.
 
The noted Danish actor wore a custom-made all-black tuxedo suit by Zegna on Tuesday night in Cannes on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival opening evening, and première of film Jeanne du Barry.

“Mads embodies the unique spirit of Zegna timeless elegance and with his outwardly positive confidence and strong sense of values he perfectly represents the Zegna modern man,” the Milan-headquartered marque said.

The Danish-born thespian has appeared in over 60 feature films, including Quantum of Solace, Casino Royale, Coco Chanel & Stravinsky, Clash of the Titans and The Three Musketeers. Previous Zegna testimonials have included double Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, Robert De Niro and Hong Kong singer and actor William Chan.
