Addition Elle joins NYFW, targets US market

For the first time, Montreal-based fashion brand Addition Elle is joining New York Fashion Week’s official programming with the showcase of its Fall/Winter collections.

Though it’s the third year that the brand is present at NYFW, this will be the first time they will be showing as part of the official shows.
 
"We are so excited to be a part of the IMG Fashion Week schedule and to share the fashion forward collections that demonstrate there are no limits with regard to size," said Roslyn Griner, Vice President of Visual Planning and Marketing at Addition Elle, in a news statement.

The plus size retailer’s foray at New York Fashion Week will coincide with another significant occasion for the brand: the launch of their localized US website. This new initiative means faster and more reliable deliveries for US customers, as well as special US only events and promotions.
 
Scheduled to take place at Skylight at Clarkson Square on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 1 pm, the Fall/Winter collection showcase will include a capsule collection designed in collaboration with Jordyn Woods, as well as the latest offerings from Ashley Graham's Addition Elle line.
 
Keeping in line with the "see now, buy now" retail model that’s currently sweeping the industry, a weeklong pop-up store will also follow the New York Fashion Week showcase.
 
"We want to share our brand with our fans in the US with the launch of our Pop-Up shop and new US web-site," added Griner.
 
The first-ever New York City pop-up shop will offer items as seen on the runway, as well as Addition Elle’s private label brands. Addition Elle fit experts will equally be on hand for bra fittings and to provide style tips.
 
The shop will run from Monday, September 11th to Sunday, September 17th from 11 am to 6 pm, and will be located at 134 5th Avenue.
