Adidas is number one fashion brand amongst millennials

Published
Jul 12, 2017

While retailers across the board are constantly trying to tap into (or keep up with) the millennial market, a recent survey from YouGov BrandIndex determined that Adidas is the top favorite brand of the generation.

Adidas ranked the favorite fashion brand among millennials - Adidas

The survey—which took place over a 30-day period—calculated the spending habits of millennial customers. Adidas took the top spot with a 3.4 percent increase from the same survey last year.

The results suggest that the popularity of these brands is largely due to collaboration efforts such as Adidas’ Yeezy Boost sneakers and brand ambassador Kendall Jenner—sister Kylie, on the other hand,  has been representing Puma, but Kendall (along with Justin Bieber and Bella Hadid) have been seen in a bevy of campaigns for Calvin Klein, thus proving that the new models of fashion are in fact millennial role models.

Other companies in favor on the top ten list of favorites include Uber, Spotify and Instagram. Adidas technically comes in at number ten, but it is the first fashion company to make the cut. Other brands to follow in the top twenty list include Puma and Calvin Klein.
