Adidas opens new Venice Beach-inspired store on Abbot Kinney

A new community focused Adidas Originals store has opened on Abbot Kinney in Venice, CA.

The new space blends iconic styles like the Stan Smith, Superstars and Gazelle with the artistic vibe of Abbot Kinney. The store will feature art installations and curated community spaces.

The store will be used as an event space to build Adidas brand recognition in the community. Local culture, art and creativity will be the core themes for the consumer experience.

Simon Atkins, Brand Director at Adidas said, "When creating the store, our philosophy was to capture the unique and authentic spirit of Venice and give its creators, artists, musicians and trendsetters another place to come and be inspired.

To generate traffic, Adidas is hosting DJs in store for a series of happy hours this week from 4-6pm. Sneakerhead and street style influencer Levi Maestro will contribute content on his social media channels related to Adidas Originals and the store opening.

Additionally, Adidas has sponsored a pop-up gallery to introduce the launch of its new NMD Collection. The gallery is half a mile away from the Adidas store and will allow consumers to explore early photo techniques that inspired the NMD Collection.

The new Adidas store in Venice is open Monday through Saturday and is located at 1349 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
