Amazon: the food range extended internationally?

Gradually deployed in major US cities since 2013, Amazon's food delivery range could be about to become available in London. This has been aired by the local media, which had previously suggested a possible deployment in Germany and France. 

Fresh constitutes a significant boost for Amazon's range, and is closely monitored by major grocery distribution chains. Using a process similar to the Echo voice-command purchasing device, the e-retailer also currently offers Amazon Dash. It's a device that allows you to automatically add to your basket the food items to be reordered by reading their bar code, or by simply creating a shopping list vocally.

Serving 200 million customers, in 2014 Amazon reached revenues of € 78.71 billion, a 20% increase compared to 2013. The group has however lamented losses for nearly € 213.17 million, compared to a € 218.48 profit a year earlier.
