Amazon to hold second Digital Day on December 29
Amazon announced on Monday its second annual Digital Day set to take place on Friday, December 29.
Digital Day could be considered as Amazon’s winter version of Prime Day, but for only digital content. The Seattle-based company launched Digital Day on December 30, 2016 and offered up to 80% off on movies and television shows, video games and digital comics.
The second annual Digital Day is offering similar savings on Marvel graphic novels, Wonder Woman on Amazon Video, books on Amazon Kindle, and Roblox wearables.
“Amazon Digital Day is an amazing time to shop for deals on digital content,” said Aaron Rubenson, VP, Amazon Appstore.
“The customer response was incredibly positive last year, and we’re excited to help customers find great discounts again this year—whether they just received a new Amazon Fire TV, Fire Tablet, or Fire Kids Edition Tablet over the holidays or are looking to add new content to their current device.”
Amazon in November reported its biggest Cyber Monday ever, with 30% growth over the previous year. The shopping day was also the biggest in the company’s history to date. The company recently expanded to Australia for the holiday season and was named Mexico’s top online retailer of 2017.
