Arc’teryx Montreal is getting a facelift
Nov 15, 2017
Following a significant renovation and expansion, Montreal’s Arc’teryx store re-opened last week with a new shopping experience.

The new Arc’teryx store, which is Quebec’s only, was designed to enhance consumer engagement, both in-store and online, as well as properly showcase the Canadian brand’s clothing collections.
“Community spirit is particularly vibrant in Montreal, and that’s why we’ve designed a friendly, welcoming store that will enable outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy a shopping experience that’s inspiring, engaging and impactful,” explained Jeff Parent, Store General Manager and Community Manager for Arc’teryx in Quebec, in a news statement.
The new store houses a 1,500-square-foot space where visitors can connect. The space will also be used to host clinics, seminars and other events on offer.

“Our stores are hubs designed with the local outdoor community in mind. As such, they offer consumers the chance to learn more about the activities targeted by our clothing and gear. We want to inspire people to head to the great outdoors, have fun, and explore the wonders of unspoilt nature,” added Adam Ketcheson, Vice-President, Marketing at Arc’teryx.
The now 5,000-square-foot space, located at 1515 Saint-Catherine Street West, was first inaugurated in 2007.
The Vancouver-based outdoor retailer currently operates six stores in Canada, including its locations in Vancouver and Kistilano as well as two stores in Toronto and one in Montreal. Globally, the company operates 21 stores.
Arc’teryx was founded in 1989. It was purchased in 2005 by Finland-based Amer Sports.
