Arc’Teryx promotes Jon Hoerauf to General Manager

Jon Hoerauf knows Arc’Teryx very well. Formerly at The North Face for over 10 years, he has been structuring the commercial strategy of the outdoor Canadian brand at a global level since 2012.

With the departure of the general director of the Amer Sports group brand, Vincent Wauters, who was with the company for the last 4 years, he will take on a new role: president and general manager of Arc’Teryx. He will report directly to Heikki Takala, the group CEO.

Arc’Teryx has a presence in over 3,000 stores worldwide and has begun developing a network of shops of its own. The brand now has 10 stores and just opened one oversees, in Boston, in a new 350 square meter space. It is also aiming to open new stores in New York and Chicago this year.
