Select Mayfair haunt the Savile Club hosted the curtain-raising event for the new arm candy, which melds Aspinal of London's classic chic with Etre Cécile's quirky signature styling.

The bold and beautifully crafted pieces -- which also include leather accessories and notebooks -- feature contrasting panels in calf and rubberized leathers, soft nappa leather printed in plaid, applied in an out-of-proportion scale and bold 1990s-inspired graphics.

An electric palette of fluorescent green, cobalt, hot pink, yellow and black enliven five of Aspinal London's classic key designs.

Aspinal of London's Creative Director, Mariya Dykalo was delighted with the result of Etre Cécile co-founder Yasmin Sewell's handicraft: "It was so exciting to see the bold approach Yasmin took with our product, the confidence to break up the panels and think about the three dimensional form of a handbag with the same brave aesthetic she applies to the Etre Cécile ready to wear."

"I love the idea of taking something grown up, classic, serious and messing it up, having fun, taking it to an unexpected place," commented Sewell.

Adding, "the brands are so different, it's the unexpected contrast that excites me. Mariya and I both love the collection, we're going to be fighting over the samples until the collection hits the stores this September!"

London-conceived label Etre Cécile was founded by Yasmin Sewell, Jemma Dyas and Kyle Robinson, who collectively aspired to create a unique ready-to-wear collective, taking inspiration from the cleanliness of French style.

The brand's heritage is based around ‘Cécile', an Irish-born artist living in 1960s Paris, with a love of animal prints and a creative flair.
