Authentic Brands makes promotions and executive leadership addition

Authentic Brands Group on Friday announced the promotions of John Erlandson and Matthew Nordby to Chief Revenue Officer and President of International Business Development and Gaming, respectively, and the addition of Adam Geisler to the executive team as Group Executive Vice President of Sports.

Chief Revenue Officer is a new position for ABG. In this new role, Erlandson will lead ABG’s revenue growth strategy to align and drive all new licensing revenue generation on a global basis. The Sports and Fashion pillar Business Development and Business Affairs teams will report into Erlandson.
 
Nordby was also promoted within the company, and in his new role, he will lead and drive ABG’s new international partnership strategy.

Geisler, who joins the company as Group Executive Vice President of Sports, will lead the global expansion of ABG’s Sports pillar, which includes Spyder, Tapout, Prince, Airwalk, Airwalk Classics, Vision Street Wear and Hind. He previously served as CMO of Mission Athletecare.
